Acura today unveiled a one-of-a-kind 2026 Acura ADX SUV, created in collaboration with extreme sports superstar and Vans athlete Coco Zurita. Making its public debut tomorrow at Vans headquarters in Costa Mesa, California, the custom ADX design draws from Vans sneakers as well as Zurita's passion for motorsports, street culture and custom fabrication to create distinctive design elements, materials and finishes that blend the creativity and energy of action sports with Acura's performance-driven automotive design.
Zurita's limited-edition Vans shoe also drops tomorrow, and is exclusively available at vans.com .
The exterior of the ADX CZ-77 Concept reflects the world of tuners and BMX culture with 19-inch Rotiform wheels and aero discs, a custom carbon-fiber aero body kit, custom fender flares and a purpose-built rear BMX structure designed to secure and display a BMX bike. Graphics are derived from the Vans x Coco Zurita shoe campaign.
Inside, the ADX CZ-77 Concept's Vans-inspired interior features signature fabrics and design cues from the legendary action-sports brand. Approximately 90% of the fabric used throughout the build was provided by Vans North America, using the same types of materials found in the brand's high-performance Skate and BMX footwear, bringing the DNA of Vans footwear directly into the ADX interior. The result is an Acura ADX that is a distinctive expression of Zurita's personal style and creative vision, celebrating Zurita's 20th anniversary with Vans and Vans' 60th anniversary.
"Cars and bikes have always been an extension of how I express myself, so I wanted this Acura ADX build to feel true to that," said Zurita. "Working with Acura and Vans gave me a chance to pour my passions for BMX, design and community into a unique ADX build that has a strong attitude and a lot of personality."
Zurita, a native of Santiago, Chile who now resides in Los Angeles, ranks among the top BMX athletes in the world, and has competed in over a dozen X Games, earning multiple podiums. He first partnered with Acura to build a custom 2023 Acura Integra that debuted at the 2022 SEMA Show, followed by a 2024 Acura TLX Type S build that debuted at the 2024 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach . Zurita has experience in amateur drifting and has competed in the Unlimited AWD class at Global Time Attack.
The Acura ADX is a premium compact SUV at the gateway of the Acura lineup that has quickly become the retail #1 model in its segment. ADX attracts the youngest buyer in its class with bold styling, premium features and a fun, engaging driving experience. Offered at an attainable price point, the average transaction price for a new Acura ADX is lower than the industry average transaction price for used premium vehicles.
