Acura Integra Wins 2026 Best of the Year Award from Best of the Year Media

  • Acura Integra recognized as a 2026 Best of the Year Award winner
  • Award highlights Integra's blend of sporty performance, premium features and everyday versatility

The Acura Integra has earned a 2026 Best of the Year Award from Best of the Year Media, recognizing the premium sport compact for its distinctive combination of engaging performance, sophisticated design, advanced technology and everyday practicality.

Selected through an evaluation process that considers product performance, innovation, functionality, value and real-world usefulness, Integra stood out as an enthusiast-focused vehicle that remains comfortable and versatile for daily driving. The honor reflects Integra's role as the gateway to the Acura brand and its ability to bring together a driver-focused character, premium appointments and flexible liftback utility in one compelling package.

"The Acura Integra was designed to make every drive feel special, and this recognition validates how successfully it blends an engaging, driver-focused experience with the premium features, versatility and everyday comfort our customers value," said Jessika Laudermilk, assistant vice president of Acura National Sales. "Earning a Best of the Year Award through expert evaluation and real-world consumer testing is a meaningful endorsement of Integra's ability to deliver genuine driving excitement without compromise to our Acura customers."

The return of Integra to the Acura lineup revived one of the brand's most celebrated nameplates. A perennial top seller since its launch in 2022, the Acura Integra has dominated the premium sport compact segment, winning the 2023 North American Car of the Year Award and consistently commanding about 40% of retail sales1 in the segment. It has been especially important to Acura in attracting the youngest buyers in the segment2 and the highest conquest rate of any Acura vehicle.

Integra also has continued to earn industry recognition for its sporty design, engaging driving experience, versatile five-door body style and strong value.

Why the Integra Won:

The drive is the whole point—and it delivers. Reviewers praised Integra's spirited, playful handling, which sharpens when drivers want more engagement and settles comfortably for everyday travel. The experience is especially rewarding with the available 6-speed manual transmission.

A liftback makes it far more practical than it looks. The hatch opens to cargo space Acura calls class-leading, while split-folding rear seats accommodate large or awkward items that are difficult to carry in a traditional sedan. Integra also provides usable rear-seat legroom.
Controls stay refreshingly hands-on. Physical knobs and dials for frequently used functions help drivers make adjustments without searching through on-screen menus.

The 2026 refresh added useful technology. Every Integra now includes a standard 9-inch touchscreen—two inches larger than before—along with wireless phone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The refreshed lineup also introduced three new exterior colors, including one exclusive to the Integra A-Spec.

Aspirational, attainable and American-built. Starting at $33,400, Integra offers an accessible entry point to the Acura brand and a premium experience well below the average price of a new vehicle.
