"This week, the Honda brand added to the recent recognition we have received in areas such as quality, safety, resale value and owner loyalty with awards from several organizations for the tremendous value our products offer to American consumers.
Specifically, Kiplinger's Personal Finance gave Best Value Awards to the Accord ('$25,000-$30,000' category) and the Odyssey ('Minivan' category) – and KBB.com recognized the Accord as the midsize sedan with the lowest cost of ownership over a projected 5-year period.
These are just the latest in a series of honors earned by the Honda brand – which also includes Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards for the 2013 model year for the Accord ("Non-Luxury Traditional Mid-Size Car") and the CR-V ("Non-Luxury Compact CUV") – as well as the honor bestowed on Honda as the "Most Trusted Brand" (KBB.com).
We believe our commitment to selling one car and one customer at a time plays a critical role in why customers have remained so loyal to the Honda brand. Of course, the best way to maintain loyalty is to continue creating innovative and exciting products that car buyers want to own. And we are doing our best to deliver on that promise, with the 2015 Honda Fit coming to market later this spring, as the next all-new model that will fuel our momentum."
