Honda Rearview Report: December 14 - December 20, 2013

"With the holidays upon us, and the increased hustle and bustle of the season, it is important to take a moment to reflect on the importance of safety to all of us at Honda.

At Honda, we are making significant and ongoing investments in leading safety technologies and vehicle designs. With this in mind, we thought it might be fun to re-imagine Santa's sleigh as Honda safety engineers might have designed it.

While we don't have Rudolph's shiny nose, we are offering a comprehensive suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive features, including our unique next-generation ACE body structure that has enabled Honda and Acura to continue leading the industry with the most number of top-rated models in the safety ratings by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Our passion for safety is not only for drivers and passengers of Honda vehicles, but also includes efforts to improve the compatibility of our products with other vehicles as well as pedestrians, and everyone on the road.

From all of us at Honda to all of you, please accept our most sincere wishes for a very happy and safe holiday season."

- Michael Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
